Rescue operations in deep water or stormy seas require expert skills to handle powerboats at high speeds and carry out life-saving operations simultaneously. Rescue boat operators need to be agile and work in team to attend any distress call for help at short notices. This resource has to have an all-round hands-on knowledge and experience of operating a rescue boat, leading a rescue team, rescuing stranded persons, safety, first aid and post rescue resuscitation. Sometimes, rescue boat operations can be followed by aerial rescue operations too in-case of emergencies or off-shore mishaps.
